Ninja Leikert-Böhm will explore key insights from a small-scale project conducted in a Swiss telecommunication company. Using ValueMatch group assessment data, combined with interviews and a personality traits and needs questionnaire, we analyzed which teams thrive within their agile teams and the broader SAFe organization. Additionally, I will introduce our ongoing research on agile role alignment, psychological models, and stage development theories. Our focus is on agile work environments, as we suspect that many challenges in scaled agile settings stem from individual traits, values, and psychological development. For organizational development, identifying where mismatches occur within the system provides valuable insights for targeted interventions. Two fundamental approaches emerge: supporting individuals in developing into agile roles or adapting agile roles and structures to better fit individuals and teams. In order to identify the fit or misfit and the pain points, we are develop a diagnostic tool.
Ninja works at the ZHAW School of Management and Law as a lecturer for Project Management topics and researcher in Agile and Scaled Agile organizations, organizational transformation and development.
