My name is Jolijn Uittenbogaard and this year I am chairman of Integrand Nederland, a student foundation that brings students and companies into contact by organizing internships and career events. The foundation is run by approximately 140 students spread over 12 student towns in the Netherlands.
Integrand Netherlands is the national body consisting of six board members who work full-time for one year. Since we work full-time, we are advised by a ValueMatch team coach, who works on the basis of the Spiral Dynamics profiles.
This method has given us many new insights into each other’s work processes and the way we can respond to different issues. This helps us to learn how to communicate better with each other, with whom you need to be, for example, to make the right decision, put together a good schedule or get advice on how to approach someone in the right manner.
These are very useful insights for a full-time management year. The pleasant guidance we got from ValueMatch and the many insights we had, are certainly worthwhile. I can highly recommend this to others who are embarking on a similar adventure.
